A sticker can do more than fill an empty corner. Give it a small job: hold a visual theme together, mark a favourite page or add a personal detail to a gift. Here are seven projects to try with a printable sheet.
1. Add a title to a journal spread
Place a label sticker on a quiet part of the page and write a date, place or short title inside it. Choose a pale label if you want your handwriting to stay readable.
2. Finish an envelope
Use a floral sticker to decorate the back flap of a keepsake envelope. For anything you plan to post, use a suitable envelope closure and keep decoration away from the address and postage area.
3. Build a bookmark
Cut a strip of cardstock, add one tall botanical sticker and leave space at the top for a punched hole. Keep the finished bookmark flat so it rests comfortably inside a book.
4. Decorate a gift tag
Place a small motif near the bottom corner, leaving the centre free for a message. Repeat the same motif on the wrapping paper or envelope for a coordinated set.
5. Mark a favourite recipe or idea
Use a label on a paper tab so a useful page is easy to find. Write a specific word such as “bread” or “garden” rather than relying on decoration alone.
6. Make a tiny collage card
Layer a plain paper scrap, a small image and one label on a folded card. Arrange everything before removing the sticker backing. One larger motif usually reads more clearly than several competing small ones.
7. Create a memory pocket
Fold a small pocket from coordinating paper and decorate its front with a sticker. Slip a note or ticket inside. Attach the pocket securely, leaving the opening free.
Keep cutting simple
Leave a narrow border around detailed shapes when hand-cutting. If you use a cutting machine, check whether the kit includes suitable cut files or whether you need to create the cut outline yourself.
